Stephen Eastham is a former owner and business broker of Sunbelt Business Brokers of San Jose, CA, General Motors supervisor at Flint Truck Assembly, and also a retired military reserve officer and naval aviator. Steve was the production manager for the RG-31A2 Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle program from 2008-2009 where the team rapidly fielded 1400 MRAPs to the warfighters in OEF.
Steve was awarded the 2008 David Packard Award for acquisition excellence for his efforts on the MRAP Vehicle Program. The David Packard Excellence in Acquisition Award was established to recognize organizations, groups, and teams who have demonstrated exemplary innovation using best acquisition practices that achieve acquisition excellence in the Department of Defense. It is the highest award given by the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics USD(AT&L).
